She was predeceased by : her parents, George Stark and Emma Stark (Charles); her son Joseph; and her siblings, Joseph Stark (Vicky), Jack Stark (Jean), Richard Stark, Lavina, Sister Augustina, Florence, Norah Wilkinson (Bus) and Kay Marshall (Lyalle).

She is survived by : her children, Edward Bretecher (Stella), Lynn Douville (J. C.), Liza McKenzie, Louise Ward, Emily Chabluk and Michael Bretecher (Deanna); her daughter-in-law Adeline; her sister-in-law Valerie Stark; her grandchildren, Rhonda Honke (Kevin), Dwight McKenzie (Tammy), Neil (Jackie McKenzie), Brad Bretecher (Ksenia), Dee McKenzie, Renee Foreman (Derek), Donne Bretecher, Crystal Ward, Ashley Bretecher, Josette Northcott (Dan), Jason McKenzie, Chantalle Bretecher, Stephanie Thomson (Liam), Kelsey Chabluk (Drew), Alyssa Bretecher, Dakota Bretecher (Katherine) and Katelyn Chabluk; and her great grandchildren, Owen McKenzie, Justus Bretecher, Clare McKenzie, Rosalyn McKenzie, Kayla Bretecher, Mila Honke, Felix Foreman, Kinley Honke and Martin Northcott.

Viewing was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the St. Viator's Roman Catholic Church. A rosary was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Roman Catholic Church - Dauphin (307 Whitmore Ave E, Dauphin, MB R7N2V1). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Mary may be made to the charity of ones choice or the Toutes-Aides Catholic Cemetery Fund.
