Phyllis Plesh Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Plesh (Dauphin, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2026 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Balak and Rose Balak (Kwasnicki); her husband Nick Plesh; her in-laws, Alex and Mary Plesh; and her siblings-in-law, Sandra Plesh and Ralph Moshenko.

She is survived by: her daughter Kelly Plesh of Dauphin; her grandson Aiden Lebel of Dauphin; her sister Theresa Balak of Embrun, ON; and her siblings-in-law, Ollie Moshenko of Winnipeg, Morris Plesh of The Pas and Irene Paterson (Larry) of The Pas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins.

A prayer was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Sneath - Strilchuk Family Care Centre (Riverside Rd, Dauphin, MB). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection (801 Jackson St, Dauphin, MB R7N2N3).
