She was predeceased by: her parents, Steven Syrnyk and Annie Syrnyk; her husband Edward Podolsky; and her son-in-law Jerry Gustafson. She is survived by: her children, Joanne Gustafson, Joyce Campbell (Glen), Robert Podolsky (Valentina) and Bruce Podolsky (Oksana); and her sister Iris Penonzek. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre (Riverside Rd, Dauphin, MB).
