Derrick left this world on September 14, 2025 at the age of 34, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his cousin Brian; and his siblings, Brandon and Raemie. He is survived by: his father Curtis Leaver (Arlene Goosehead); his daughters, Star and Ember; his grandfather Keith; his mother Muriel; his sisters, Nina, Samantha, Kirsten, Tiffany and Hope; his aunt Michelle; and his cousins, Karissa and McKenna. He is also survived by many other cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, niece, and friends.
