He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maddess and Audrey Maddess (Murray). He is survived by: his children, Ricky, Erica (Sean) and Amber (Dion); his grandchildren, Arianna, Haley, Brandon, Rylee Sarah, Connor, Riane, Maddison of Macklin, Hannah, Steele and Sarah; and his siblings, Verna Sullivan and Keith Maddess (Cheryl).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Larry may be made to the Boissevain Health Centre Palliative Care.
