He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelvin Empson and Lillian Empson. He is survived by: his wife Marlyn Empson; his children, Shannon (Alan), McKenzie, Derek Empson (Kelly Young), Juliann (Logan), Salazar and Kristin Opocensky; and his siblings, Kelvin Empson, Diana Breckon and Ronald Empson (Maxine). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Emerson Complex (101 Church St, Emerson, MB R0A0L0).
