He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Bernhard and Jean Bernhard; and his wife Patricia Evelyn Bernhard (Webber). He is survived by: his son Jason Bernhard; his daughter-in-law Amy Bernhard (McDonald); his grandchildren, Hayli-Jay Bernhard, Jack Rowen Bernhard and Brynlee Evelyn Bernhard; and his siblings, Beverly Zollen (Don) and William Bernhard.
