Katherine Ruskin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2025, at the age of 100, Katherine Ruskin (Gilbert Plains, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Maruk and Maria Maruk (Harisymiw); her husband Andrew Ruskin; her son Walter; and her nieces, Deborah Maruk and Lisa Copeland.
She is survived by: her daughter Anne Richards of Gilbert Plains; her siblings, Michael (Carole) and Anne (Roy) of Winnipeg; her grandchildren, Meagan, Kaylie, Cory (Alla) and Amber (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Maizie and Lyvie. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sneath Strilchuk Family Care Centre (Riverside Rd, Dauphin, MB).
Should friend so desire donations and memory of Katherine may be made to the Gilbert Plains Personal Care Home – Activity Department.
