It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Sorokowski of Gimli, Manitoba, born in Meleb, Manitoba, who passed away on June 9, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ludwig and Olga (Trakalo); his friend Ed; his parents-in-law, Fred and Annie Samorodny; his sister Eleanor; and his siblings-in-law, Ernie and Elaine.
He is survived by : his friends, Mel and Lil; his wife Jennie; his children, Debbie Dickson (Mark), Connie Townsend (Reid) and Brad (Belinda); his grandchildren, Jennica (Ethan), Ashleigh (Griffin), Kayley, Katrina (Chris), Gianna, Brendan and Kendall; his stepgrandson Ben (Josée); his siblings, Tony (Irene), Walter, Diane (Don), Julia (Bob) and Virginia; his parents-in-law, Wally, Peter and Mary; and his friends, Audrey, Don, Diane, Joe and Alice. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
