She was predeceased by : her husband Olafur; her sons, Donald and Van; her son-in-law Dale; and her grandson Geir.

She is survived by : her children, Olena Valgardson and David Johnson (Pat); her grandchildren, Kim (Shawn), Erin (Matt), Teressa (Kevin) and Arielle (Jesse); her great grandchildren, Dawson, Mackenzie, Emily, Riley, Brody, Ostyn and Tytan; and her daughters-in-law, Hazel and Sally.
