He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret; his wife Katherine; his son William (Billy); his grandson Christopher; his siblings, Gus (Frenchy), Leontine (Leon Martel), Adelaide (Fidel Bison), Rita (Lawrence Ulasy) and Doris (Rene Van) of Keere; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Champagne, Joe Martel and Andy Nault.
He is survived by: his children, Alfred (Shirley), Ernie (Virna), Richard (Yvonne), Craig (Patricia), Randy (Lee Anna), Anne Morrissette (Stan) and Kathleen Champagne; his stepchildren, Mary Unrau (Ben), Helen Wiebe (Jim), Susan Johnson (Ivan), John Hiebert (Carol), Anne Neufeld (Mike), Martha Gerbrandt, Jake Hiebert (Ang) and Willie Hiebert (Anne); and his siblings, Andy Champagne, Grace Martel and Anna Nault.
