“Doris Stone was one of the finest ladies that I ever met. She was one of Warren's favorite cousins and if he wanted to find out something that he didn't remember he would telephone Doris and have the correct story. I remember the afternoon teas and also the wonderful supper she prepared for us (from Neepawa-our family and auctioneer and his workers) the night of Grannie Gillies' auction sale and I think Grannie stayed with Doris that night. Doris was always so happy for a visit. RIP Doris. .”
