She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her son-in-law Ron Hird; her parents, Josephat Doyon and Lucie Doyon; her father-in-law Johannes (John); her brothers, Joe Hilhorst (Madeline) and Bert Hilhorst (Emily); and also, Yvonne Godard Dhont (George), Cecile DePape (Albert) and Adrien Doyon (Greta).
She is survived by: her children, Rita Hellegards (Elmer), Denis Hilhorst of Fort Nelson, Josie Hird, Michael Hilhorst (Joanne) of Fort Nelson and Pat Van De (Ken); her grandchildren, Larry Hellegards (Cindy Manastyr), Brian Hellegards (Dorrie), Darcy Hird (Pauline Olynik), Sherry Hird (Trig Arason), Clayton Hilhorst, Trent Hilhorst (Heather), Erin Van De Kerckhove (Eric Clark) and Andrew Van De (Brigitte); and her great grandchildren, Braylee, Joshua, Brenna, Eric, Tasya, Justis, Claire, Travis, Elena, Dominic and Liam.
