He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wiens and Aganetha Wiens; and his wife Mary Warkentin. He is survived by: his children, Harold (Bonita), Irene Ens (Alvin) and Anita Neufeld (Randy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren as well as two siblings and many relatives and friends.
