It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Penner of Grunthal, Manitoba, who passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Penner and Margaretha Penner; his former wife Susan Penner; his wife Helena Peters Penner; his stepson David Peters; and his stepdaughter-in-law Lee Peters.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Penner (Lisa), Sheila Froese (Bill) and Terry Penner (Laura); and his stepsons, Albert John Peters (Kathy) and Bill Peters. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
