With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Murray of Hamiota, Manitoba, who passed away on September 3, 2024 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Murray to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold; her parents, Ernest Lawn and Beatrice Lawn; her son-in-law Ralph Sheane; and her siblings, George Lawn (Blanche) and Helen Sutherland (Geo).

She is survived by: her daughters, Heather Sheane and Sharon Preston (Allan); her grandchildren, Michelle McNabb (Terry), Murray Sheane (Tracey), Scott Preston (Kristin), Shelley Rowan (Curtis) and Julie Gooch (Tyler); and her great grandchildren, Rory, Rylee, Robyn McNabb, Ryan, Wyat Sheane, Will, Savannah Preston, Tanner, Nathan, Brayden Rowan, Elsie, Claire and Aubrey Gooch. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hamiota United Church (Birch Ave, Hamiota, MB R0M0T0).
