She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Black and Blanche Black; her parents-in-law, Leonard and Gladys Burt; her siblings-in-law, Murray Kent, Georgina Black and Marlene Genung (Murray); and her nephew Donald Genung.
She is survived by: her husband Brian; her children, Brent (Wendi), Shelley Burt and Nancy Smith (Jason); her grandchildren, Jillian, Colby Burt, Danika and Carson Smith; her siblings, Eileen Kent, Frank Black and Melvin Black (Carole); and her siblings-in-law, Jack Burt (Wendy), Mayvis Sesak (Jim) and Linda MacDougall (Syl). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak River United Church (27 Limit St, Oak River, MB R0K1T0).
