She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Sedgwick and Eleanor Sedgwick; and her son Mark. She is survived by: her husband Allan; her sons, Kent (Yvonne) and Michael (Brandi); her sister Sandra (Barry); and her grandchildren, Kennedy (Harley), Mikaela, Emmett and Asher. She is also survived by nieces, and countless friends.
Every Christmas Eve, without fail, she read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas to her children and then grandchildren - a tradition so important to her that not even COVID could break it, as she carried it on over video call rather than let a single year pass by.
