She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Sedgwick and Eleanor Sedgwick; and her son Mark. She is survived by: her husband Allan; her sons, Kent (Yvonne) and Michael (Brandi); her sister Sandra (Barry); and her grandchildren, Kennedy (Harley), Mikaela, Emmett and Asher. She is also survived by nieces, and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hamiota Community Centre (50 4 St, Hamiota, MB R0M0T0). Every Christmas Eve, without fail, she read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas to her children and then grandchildren - a tradition so important to her that not even COVID could break it, as she carried it on over video call rather than let a single year pass by.
