He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel; his parents, William Taylor and Jesse Taylor; and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his brother Bill (Audrey); and his children, Robert, Sandra (Larry) and Larry. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Headingley Holy Trinity Anglican Church cemetery fund or an alternate charity of choice.
