She is survived by: her sister Joan Dubyts; her mother Effie Matheson (MacFarlane); her daughter Lou; her son-in-law Wayne; her grandchildren, Paula (Tony), Suzanne (Joel), Stacee (Dan) and Josh (Brett); and her great grandchildren, Marielle (Matt), Martine (Scott), Tyler, Danica, Maya, Brady and Sadie. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial donations may be made in Rene's memory to a charity of choice.
