He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy; and his sons, Byron and Fred. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Trent (Trish), Wendy (Sean), Stephanie and Jeffrey; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Ryleigh, Jace, Graecyn, Marley and Jackson.

A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Holmfield Cemetery.
