He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin and Juliane; his wife Elisabeth Frauenlob; and his siblings, Josef, Maria and Anna.
He is survived by: his brother Hans (Elfride); and his children, Martin (Margaret), Elisabeth Szraka (Tony), Gertraud (Ingo), Georg (Brenda), Rudy (Farah), Paul (Jennifer), Claudia Keating (Mark) and Bernhard (Shannon). He is also survived by his twenty-two grand-children and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made in Martin's memory to the Inglis Grain Elevators National Historic Site.
