He is survived by : his wife Maria; his children, Rudy, Kelly, Kim, Ryan and Paul; his parents, John Hildebrand and Nettie Hildebrand; his siblings, Stella (Wes), Verna (Ev), Ray (Heather), Rob (Neta) and Jon (Tina); his parents-in-law, Abram and Anna Fehr; his siblings-in-law, Justina (Ermond), Helena (Ruben), Anna (Klaus), Lisa (Jacob), Cornie (Esther), Johan (Teresa) and Abe (Claudia); and his cousin Stan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Birchwood Funeral Chapel to help the family with expenses.
