He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his son Donald; and his parents, Jakob D. K and Justina Plett. He is survived by: his children, Wayne, Sylvia (Dan Reimer) and Bev (Terry Penner); his daughter-in-law Rose (Bill Dyck); and his siblings, Minna Friesen, Esther Plett, Emmeline, John Poettker, Ellie, Henry Epp and Diane Reimer. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and their spouses and one great-great granddaughter.
