He was predeceased by : his parents, Mans Kroeze and Erika Kroeze; his brother Albert; his brother-in-law Orville Schinkel; and his son-in-law Abe Krahn.

He is survived by : his daughter Joleen Kroeze-Gerbrandt (Landin); his grandchildren, Grayson and Maddox; and his sisters, Gerda Schinkel and Rose Dyck (Danny). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
