He is survived by: his wife Luise Berg of Kola; his children, Julian, Corinna and Lucas Berg; his parents, Andreas Berg and Anna Berg; and his siblings, Andreas Berg (Tanja), Anatoli Berg, Peter Berg (Judith), Nina Berg, Benjamin Berg (Katie), Lina Rempel (Willi), Mirijam Messavussu (Andre), Liane Iwowari (Murray), Daniel Berg (Jana), Ester Berg, Friedrich Berg (Lydia), Martin Berg (Rahel), Elvira Netherton (Patrick), Rubin Berg (Jessie Drake) and Nathanael Berg. He is also survived by 38 Nieces and Nephews.
