He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael and Elizabeth; his siblings, Annie, Joseph, Cyril, Ethel, Frank and Alphonse; his son-in-law Tim Reader; and his granddaughter Cheri Giesbrecht.

He is survived by : his children, Dianne, Carol (Lorne), Bill (Marie), Angie, Ron, Brian (Val), Laurie and Nyla (Darrell); his grandchildren, Charlene, Graham (Nancy), Sarina, Brandy (Garth), Lorne (Amelia), Douglas, Ashley (Adam), Raeann (Cam), Lindsey (Jamie) and Nicole; his great grandchildren, Brandon, Geoffrey, Jason, Tyler, Nathan, Janessa, Andrew, Trinity, Athena and Ashlee; his sister Mary; and his sisters-in-law, Diane and Edna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes can make a donation to a charity of their choice in Dad's name.
