With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Turko (McCreary, Manitoba), born in Alonsa, Manitoba, who passed away on March 24, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Edna departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Edna. Though Edna may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Turko and Stephanie Turko (Ursel); and her siblings, Walter (Hank), Fred, Margaret (Eddie), Clara (Harry), Eddie and Hank.
She is survived by: her sister Marilyn; and her sister-in-law Paulina Turko.
