He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl McNarland and Lillian McNarland; his wife Gloria; and his siblings, Murray, Dorilla and Jean.
He is survived by: his son Nelson (Marlene); his grandchildren, Kelsey (Mike) and Jesse (Angela); his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Connor, Nolan and Everlee; and his brothers, Gordon and Lorne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
