He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Butterfield and Valentine Butterfield. He is survived by : his wife Cheryl Zalizniak; his daughter Diane (Marc Pelletier); his grandchildren, Lucas and Kyle; his son Peter (Laurie); and his grandchildren, Jade and Jazmyn.
