He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth and Molly; his brother Frank (Betty); and his nephew Brian. He is survived by : his siblings, Marvin (Carolyn), Earl (Sharon), Keith (Shirley), Jerry and Gloria Middleton (Gary); and his nieces and nephews, Leah Dalziel, Blaine Goforth, Tara Elliott, Carla Keown, Chad Goforth, Kim Smolski, Brett Goforth, Marsha Goforth, Rhonda Dickson, Nicole Goforth, Kendra Custance, Jody Goforth, Blair Goforth, Coral Wiebe, Becky Forseth, Shane Goforth, Bryce Goforth, Kayla Drader, Darcy Irwin, Brenda Irwin and Jackie Irwin.
