Ruth Townsend Obituary

We bid farewell to Ruth Townsend of Melita, Manitoba, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 1, 2025 at the age of 105. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Hector; her son Larry; her parents, Adam Walker and Leah Walker (Bird); her siblings, Norman, Allan and Mildred; and her grandchildren, Leslie and Harley.

She is survived by: her daughter Leah Diane Campbell (Harvey); and her brother Jim. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Melita Cemetery.
