He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Klatt and Adina Klatt; his wife Shirley; his siblings, Ruth Kuhn and Edward Klatt; his siblings-in-law, Donald Cleaveley, Victor Logeot, Robert Kuhn and Patricia Maksymchuk; and his nephew Blair Cleaveley.
He is survived by: his son John Ian Klatt (Deanna); his grandchildren, Brenna, Lauren (Cody), Erin and Griffin; his daughter Romy Russell (Mark); his siblings, Annette Logeot and Walter Klatt (Ruth); his siblings-in-law, Bill Maksymchuk, Lora Klatt and Rita Cleaveley; and his pet Mitzy.
