He was predeceased by : his parents, Alphonse Hince and Robertine; and his brothers, Robert and Jean Hince. He is survived by : his significant other Shelley Krassman; his siblings, Gilbert Hince (Denise), Irène Hince, Pauline Marcoux (Roland), Anne Hince (Jean-Marc Lagassé), Maurice Hince (Charlotte), Lucille Chaput (Gilles), Marc Hince (Gisèle) and Jeannette Cormier (Paul); and his sister-in-law Evelyne Hince. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Homes for Heroes and/or Veterans' House Canada.
