He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Friesen and Agnes Friesen. He is survived by: his children, Corinne (Ray Waldner), Byron (Calle Friesen) and Shelline (Darryl Ross). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren (including spouses), 5 great grandchildren, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, their spouses, and numerous nephews and nieces.
