She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob Thiessen and Maria Thiessen; her son Henry Penner; her siblings, Helen Unrau, Johnny and Benny; and her siblings-in-law, Russel Dixon, Frank Enns and Bernice Thiessen.
She is survived by : her husband David NJ Penner; her children, Cathrin (Kelly), David (Evelyn), Jacob (Nancy) and John (Lori); her siblings, Elma Rempel (Henry), Anne Tschetter (Cornie), Mary Enns, Ed Thiessen (Lee) and Jake Thiessen (Catherine); her brother-in-law Dave Unrau (Helen); and her daughter-in-law Eileen (Henry). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Donations in memory of Tina Penner may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation and/or the Red River Valley Lodge.
