He was predeceased by : his parents, William Hiebert and Marie Hiebert; his parents-in-law, John D. and Katherine Bergen; and his granddaughter Heaven.

He is survived by : his wife Marlene; his children, Kimberly (Brian), Heather and Layton (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Tess (Chris), Jeff (Nykki), Jayden, Braeson (Taylor), Shanley (Chris), Kyler (Kat), Raquel (Tyler), Tanya, Bobby (Jon), Mika, Cassie (Eric) and Dylan. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
