He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfredo Briscese and Antonia Pace; his brothers, Donato and Teodoro; his nephew Giuseppe Briscese; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvie Koch, Rosetta Gesmundo, Damiano Barile and Nino Gesmundo.

He is survived by : his wife Maria; his children, Tonia (Les Campbell), Sergio and Silvio; his grandchildren, Brice and Jenna Campbell; his siblings, Pietro (Caterina), Mauro (Ana), Giuseppe (Maria) and Tonino (Grazia); and his sisters-in-law, Loredana Surra and Lina Altamura.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Central Plains Cancer Care or to a charity of choice.
