Heather McKinney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Heather McKinney (Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba), who passed away on December 28, 2025 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her first love Darrel Tukundum "Tuki"; her parents, Roy and Joyce; her brother Ron; her sibling's children, Donald Jr., Michael and Carrie; and her grandparents, William, Eliza, Simon and Rosie.
She is survived by: her sons, Anthony (Kelly Ann), Justin (Alexis) and Tyrell; her grandchildren, Laila, Declan and Waylon; her siblings, Don Sr. (Lisa), Angela (Brian), Joanne (Norman), Ryan, Sean (Rachal) and Nancy; her aunt Kookie; her uncle EddyBoy; and her mother-in-law Doreen. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
A wake was held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Swan Lake First Nation Community Hall. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Notre Dame Health Centre.
