He is survived by: his mother Rolande Chanel (Bosc); his wife Anne-Marie Chanel (Poitras); his children, André Chanel (Jaclyn) and Nathalia Chanel (Félix-Antoine Janelle); his grandson Jasper Chanel; his siblings, Eugene Chanel (Arlene), Monique Holatko (Chuck), Marc Chanel (Jackie), Gilbert Chanel (Jeannine) and Lorraine Kuzyk (Randy Ostberg); his mother-in-law Odette Deleurme-Poitras (Bruno Bandiera); his stepmother-in-law Barbara Poitras (Dutchin); his siblings-in-law, Giselle Poitras (Mark Carleton), Daryl Poitras (Rachelle) and Brian Dutchin (Kelly); and his friend Headingley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
