It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rolande Chanel (Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba), who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her brother Hubert (Therese); her husband Guy; her son Rene; her grandson Mathew; and her siblings, Eliane and Rene.
She is survived by : her children, Eugene (Arlene), Monique (Charles Holatko), Marc (Jackie), Gilbert (Jeannine) and Lorraine (Randy Ostberg); her daughter-in-law Anne-Marie; her goddaughter Nicole Chanel; and her sister-in-law Rolande Bazin.
Her last few years at the Foyer were hampered by Covid, which affected her ability to have ongoing contact with family and her health started to fail.
