He was predeceased by : his wife Elizabeth; his brother Edward; his parents, August and Ethel; and his siblings, Robert, Jackie and Ethel-Ann Klatt.

He is survived by : his nieces and nephews, Janice (Ron), Allan, Lloyd (Marlene), Russell, Mary Ann, Ronald (Wendy), Sylvia (Pat) and Chris (Clark); and his cousin Sandy (Millie).
