She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Purves and Phyllis Purves; her siblings, Bob and Barbara Ann; and her nephew Andrew.

She is survived by: her children, Joanna (Darren) and Kirk (Jiness); and her grandchildren, Madeline (Koltyn), Emma (Brendan), Clayton (Rachel) and Danica.
