Marie Belsham Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2025, Marie Belsham (Oakbank, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles; her parents, Steve Kozie and Antonia Kozie; her siblings, Clarence Kozie, Jean Ryback and Mernie; and her brothers-in-law, Roger Lavergne, Mike Ryback, George Belsham, Bill Belsham and David Belsham.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Belsham, Derek Belsham (Patty) and Tamara Lisowski (David); her grandchildren, Rachel, Matt Belsham (Ashley), Carlos and Diego Yusta Belsham; and her siblings-in-law, Verna Kozie, Phyllis Lavergne, Liz Belsham, Carol Belsham, Doris Belsham and Jim Belsham (Tina). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A prayer was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church (400 Day St, Winnipeg, MB R2C1B2).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marge's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (heartandstroke.ca), St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church (stmichaelsparish.wordpress.com) or to the Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church of Cooks Creek Grotto Restoration Fund (immaculatechurch.ca).
