He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Sonnichsen and Anna Sonnichsen (Agnes); his siblings, William (Jean), Anna Hatfield (Charlie) and Helmuth (Gertrude); his stepdaughter Elfriede; his son-in-law Keith Parsons; and his grandson Chad Dunn.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes; and his children, Sharon Pucely (Don) and Ron (Kathy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
