She was predeceased by : her husband Robert McMullin (Bob); her sister Paddy Burns; her brother-in-law Doug Burns; and her brother Mike Glover. She is survived by : her daughter Pat Cooper (Bruce); her granddaughter Megan McKay (Rick); her great grandchild Demelash McKay; and her grandson Morgan Cooper (Jennifer).

In lieu of flowers a memorial donation in Joan's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to a charity of one's choice.
