We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2025, at the age of 85, William Thomas Barry McNaughton (Oakville, Manitoba), born in Morden, Manitoba passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Alice; his mother-in-law Bessie Dickey; his son Scott; his siblings, Joan Gulay and Les; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Gill, Romeo Leclair, Andy Gulay, Gordon Kinsman and Casey Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Muriel; his daughter Kim Sheppard (Chad); his grandchildren, Taylor Sheppard and Teagan Sheppard; his sisters, Lois Kinsman, Joyce Simpson, Pat Leclair, Kay Murphy (Bob) and Shirley Delorme (Ken); and his sister-in-law Joy Gill. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A burial will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Miami Cemetery (Miami, MB R0G). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Knox United Church (155 Second St, Oakville, MB R0H0Y0).
