He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Helen (Zacharias); daughters: Ingrid (Jake Friesen) and Lottie (John Froese); son: Chris (Karen); grandchildren: Kenleigh, Kirsten (Matthias Warkentin), Marlin (Ashley), Andrew (Brittney), Byron (Teilann), Megan (Henry Wiebe), Haley, Katelyn, and Lauren (Liam Friesen); great-grandchildren: Elioenai, Zoey, Harper, Mason, Lachlan, Bodie, Indie, and Mila; parents: Gerhard G. H. Ens and Helena (Sawatkzy) Ens; siblings: Helen, MaryAnne (Zacharias), Werner, and Armin; sisters-in-law: Sarah Ens, Anna Ens, Ella Zacharias, Lydia Zacharias, and Susan Zacharias; predeceased siblings and siblings-in-law: Gerhard (Anni), Frank (Elizabeth), Henry, Margaret (Bill Penner), Adolf, Frank Zacharias, Ernie (Jean), Marlene, Caroline; predeceased great-granddaughter: Kinsley Marie; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Homes Ltd. - Winkler (121 8 St, Winkler, MB R6W0M1). A burial was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Reinland Community Cemetery (148 Reinland Ave, Plum Coulee, MB R6P0G5). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church (252 6 St, Winkler, MB R6W4B2).
