Beatrice Bates Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Bates (Portage la Prairie, Manitoba), who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Bill Bradley and Lauretta Bradley; her parents-in-law, Radley and Florence Bates; and her brothers, Gerald Bradley and Lorne Bradley.
She is survived by : her husband Bill Bates; her children, Kim Vrooman (John), Kelly Bates, Gaylene Bates and Val Bates (Chris Simon); her brother Ken Bradley; her sister-in-law Diane Bradley; and her in-laws, Terry Bates (Carol) and Alan. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Beatrice's memory to the Sunset Palliative Care Inc, 40 Royal Rd N, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1V1.
