She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Poitras and Florestine Poitras; and her siblings, Agnes, Rose Bertha, Ina and Arthur.
She is survived by : her husband Myron; her children, Gerry Hamilton (Sandy) and Bonny (Danny); her grandson Cary Hamilton (Tiffani); and her brothers, Joseph (Elsa), Maurice-Guy (Donna), Ivan (June) and Ray (Pam). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
